@j3butch1 I have moved your post to the 427 thread and we will work from here.
Judging from your pictures, I think that you should be able to keep the same size but worry about the sleeve length as that looks to be the area where you have the least amount of area to lose. All other areas look like you could lose that difference and still be ok if only wearing over a t-shirt.
You could buy the same size and ask the crew if they can find a CPO with a longer sleeve. I have in the past when they have the stock and are always willing to help when and where they can.

To everyone who has this shirt, what is your opinion on how breathable it is? I am thinking about trying to participate in the redline rally with this one or a SDA workshirt I just got, but if it's too heavy I can't wear it at work a lot. What do you guys think?

I feel like it’s very breathable for the weight.
I’ve only had it a couple days, but it also seems like a fast fader.

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and newish (as of a year or so) to IH. Having a great time so far. I just picked up a 427 and decided to bust out the sewing machine and make mine a little more special. Do many others customize their pieces?

@Dexterous6775 love the lining! I also have this shirt and I've never modified any of my graements butI'd love to have mine modified to have a straight hem.
