Was wondering if you guys could help me. Trying to determine if I should go down a size. I first tried a L but it felt a little snug. But with Trying the XL ( which are the pictures) I am wondering if the L is the better fit and that eventually the leather will soften and not feel snug. I own the rider and the Blattwerk Work Jacket in XL. And the Blattwerk Work Jacket and tailgunner are practically the same size please help

@jjwoody13 I think that XL looks good. The leather will crease and mold for sure. I have the Bareback jacket in the OG natural leather and it formed to me a lot.
I tend to like a bit more room in my leather jackets for mobility. Will you layer or only wear over a tee? My bareback is slim and only fits over a tee and thusly, has a limited time of year to wear it.
Maybe post pics of the large too…

@Mizmazzle thank you so much for your response. I returned the large so no pics. I plan on layering... part of the reason why I returned the large. I wasnt able to layer but the waist was more form fitting, creating a better silhouette. But you response stating that as it breaks in it will form to my body is what I was wondering and gave me an answer to help me make a decision. I am not swimming in the jacket the waist could be an inch smaller. Thank once again.

@jjwoody13 you’ve also got those side cinch straps you could tighten up a bit too to bring the waist in when wearing with a tee

Vote also for the XL. Even in this the arm length would be borderline on the short side for me, and I would think you end up with short arm length with the L.
-
Go with the XL. As it softens, it starts to drape better.

@Tobi thank you for the response. I have settled on a XL.

@brownr1 this is great to know. I love how tough the leather feels and I look foward to when it breaks in. Never thought I would be drawn to natural.but aftwr getring the "big buck". I have become a little obsessed. Thank for helping me out.

@jjwoody13 I would for sure stick with this fit
