It's actually a good thing.  UPS pre-process the customs paperwork by sending it electronically ahead of the physical arrival of the parcel.  It speeds things up.

It makes me laugh that when I do an import it gets processed in UK before it even gets to Narita airport…..

Yeah MP. I'm washing mine now. It was a tad big, so I'm hoping it shrinks a little bit. The fabric is different than the 704s. I feel like this shirt is cotton satin and the 704s are cotton sateen, but what do I know.  Both fabrics are amazingly comfortable.

It will shrink a bit, I did take any measurements post soak but the sleeves and chest have shrunk noticeably.

And going by the evidence so far there don't seem to be any Khaki 61's anywhere… Apart from Landon's :).

Pre Soak Measurements (XL - Khaki):

Chest - 23"
Shoulder - 18"
Sleeve - 26.5"
Length - 29.5"

Alright, I tried it on and it is larger than I would like so I have opted for a hot machine wash. It is in now. I am going to do a hot dry as well after. Basically, if you are afraid of shrinkage for any reason, refer to these and the upcoming measurements as they will be the gauge for how much this thing can shrink.

EDIT: Just went in the dryer (4:50pm EST) for 45 minutes.

I hot washed but didn't hot dry and it fits much better than out of the bag.  I'll measure it and get the measurements up soon. Awesome shacket.

Alright folks, pay attention. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SHIRT! Size up one as recommended. DO NOT got TTS. When mine first arrived I was not all that thrilled (too big and fabric was flat). However, after putting it into a hot wash and hot dryer (About 45 Minutes Each), the fabric has come alive. This has just leapt up into my top five IH shirts ever. Seriously. Fit flicks to come soon…

Chest - 23"
Shoulder - 18"
Sleeve - 26.5"
Length - 29.5"

Post Soak Measurements (XL - Khaki):

Chest - 22.3"
Shoulders - 17.5"
Sleeve - 25.75"
Length - 28.75

Ur right, mine drapes way better after the hot wash. Mine was hung dry though.
