Shrinkage, unfortuneatly, is not an excat science but are approximated expectations are always based on 'regular / safe' washing and there can indeed be scope for shrinkage with extra heat and agitation which are the two factors that cause shrinkage. Aka temperature and spin so if you feel like you need some, increase the heat and spin for sure. Please also bear in mind that as the fabric is woven vertically, the majority of the shrinkage comes in the length and sleeve length so please make sure you can allow for the shrinkage to come in these two places the most first rather than just the chest / width.

@Tobi yes the 21oz will leave it a bit behind, but this 12oz is perfect for this tropical heat, much more breathable than my 33-indigo or my 12oz Wabash in my opinion
