@dirtyframer I bet it's even 'worse' when you see someone from the crew replying, right?

@CosmoSix5 I know your pain. I had been off instagram, socials, and the web for a while and literally created a new account just so I wouldn't miss the next drop of this. Picked up a 295 as well (which I still adore) but this has always been the piece of drooled for. Getting stoked for the drop!

@kojimastreets always on the lookout for the 295ib. I feel I need cpos less as I don't wear them as shack/jackets
-
@CosmoSix5 Can't go wrong with either!

This might be a bit off-topic since it's not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison (CPO vs. work shirt), but does anyone own both the IHSH-409 and the UES Tricotine?
I love my Tricotine, but I've been thinking about adding a CPO to the rotation. Curious how the two compare in terms of fabric, fit, and how often you reach for one over the other.

The 409 feels much more hard faced and tough as nails feeling. In the same size it fits me much more trim and tailored. The blue is more unique on it I think, oaktavia has waxed poetic about it here iirc.
The trico has a softer hand feel, almost like a thick felt. It drapes and moves more easily and the cut is a bit longer and more relaxed. I think the 409 as a garment probably weighs more but the fabric on this feels like it's heavier in some respects.
They're both pretty amazing shirts, just depends what you want. I probably wear the trico just a bit more mostly because it's a bit more unique in my closet with its styling, I.e it's not a Western shirt

@noescapin I have both.
The Tricotine is super soft and cozy. The fabric is pliable and very easy to wear. It fades fairly quickly. It doesn’t have pockets (as you know, but I sometimes wish it did…)
The 409 is heavy denim. So it’s a lot more stiff at the beginning. But as denim does, it molds and softens into a thick and heavy drape. I love how the heft hangs on me. Almost like those old school lead bibs at the dentist’s office. It fades fast and more high contrast than the Tricotine (though the trico does have its own unique sort of contrast). Being a CPO, the pocket fix is a nice feature.
I love having both. I wore my Tricotine more last season cause it was new. But at my core I love denim. So that heavy stiff denim is so rad for a CPO. But the Tricotine is very nice as well. Easy wearing comfort, and the UES indigo is beautiful. I’m personally a purest when it comes to denim. I love straight indigo or black. The 409 IB is also lovely, but I love and prefer pure indigo. So the 21oz untucked is going to be my dream CPO…because I also prefer work shirt cuts. Another benefit of the Tricotine in my opinion.

Didn’t see the 409 on the release calender. No july release?

@Ross thank you for the update, I’ll make do with some slubby 16oz till then.

Patience is a virtue... I appreciate the updates and even letting us know the month (estimate) on which items will drop... Far and beyond what other companies do.

I’m definitely an iron heart fan boy
