Just bit the bullet on a Size S down here in Oz. Fingers crossed it's the right fit as they have no Mediums left. No option to try on within the state I live in. Blueworks (shop here in Australia) went to the effort of shooting a short video of one of their staff in the jacket to help me determine sizing.
It's by far the most I have ever spent, or even dreamed of spending on a jacket! if it fits right it will be the winter staple.

@seminolepilot looks like a pretty spot-on fit to me! The fact that you're wearing a couple layers underneath it and the XL felt way too big leads me to think that L's your ideal size.

Plus, I think it looks great as is, but if you think you'll lose a few pounds post holiday gorge (boy do I feel ya there), then I'd most definitely stick with L.

Sleeves are a tad long, but they will crease and come up a little.
Rest of the fit is spot on, that's the way it is supposed to sit, also length-wise.

Oh, and do I spot a pair of Lofgren Chelsea boots?

Thank you to all for the N1 advice ! I believe it's just a bit thicker coat and cut a bit shorter than what I am used to ... thus the short / snug feel ... I wish all of you a HNY !! 29 degrees out ... time to try this baby out !

how do you guys freshen yours up? ive just been spraying febreeze fabric freshener on it and letting it air out but maybe theres a better way?

Hey guys can anyone help about the size? I have the Sateen M65 Field Jacket - Olive IHM-27-OLV a fantastic jacket at size XL and it fits perfect.
So according to that which size should I choose?? I am 188cm tall and my weight is 84kg.

@Mike1914 I also have the sateen m65 in XL and I went with XXL for my N1 deck jacket. The sleeves are a little long and it has room for layering. I could have maybe gone XL in the N1 and had it more fitted and worn it with just a t-shirt but I wanted to layer up under it. A big winter coat should have a bit of room in it I think but there are plenty of people on here who go for the fitted N1 look. I hope that helps, I’d say you could go either XL or XXL. XL with a tee, XXL with a tee and a UHF.

just an update: ive worn my medium literally every day since it arrived mid november until just the past week or so and even then occasionally inside since it gets colder in this old house than it is outside at times. i love this thing and i never want to take it off.
