Hi, everyone - first time poster
I've noticed people mentioning other stockists - is that feasible though for a UK based person? As far as I know, it's 20% additional VAT from anywhere in the world into the UK, or is there a way around this that I don't know?

What’s going on with your zipper? I found this heavy duty two way to be easy to zip. As long as you seat the zipper properly to begin with.
I LOVE the over size two way zipper on this jacket. It’s one of my favourite features.

I've bought a medium from the USA - stiffer charges than anticipated... an additional £274 - Still glad to get my hands on one and looking forward to it arriving on Monday.

Has anybody actually shortened the sleeves on one of these jackets? They are pretty damn long. Just wondering how they shorten considering the wrist button fastener etc.
And if so any pictures you can share please?

the small got here, and it fits, but is a bit tight around the pits and at the shoulders when holding my arms out and moving them around. is there any hope of this loosening up a bit up top after some wear?
the sleeves fall exactly where i want them, its basically overall a similar silhouette to a type III at this size. i really wish i was able to try a medium on, it was so difficult to find a stockist who would actually allow me to return it for a refund if it doesnt work, and none still have medium that im able to find. i suppose i am either stuck with small or SOL at this point.

@darbycrash I bought my Medium a week or so ago at Self Edge...they still appear to have size mediums in stock...it sounds like you would definitely prefer having a little more room.

Missed out on one of these on eBay this morning by literally minutes as I was umming and arring over it.. a sign to hold out for an olive or khaki as I originally wanted maybe.. or just bad luck!

My medium just arrived via UPS, while I'm at work, torture!
While I'm in Manchester, UK and things have been a bit mild, it was absolutely freezing on Saturday and was thinking I'd really appreciate having it to wear

Got it, tried it on and it hasn't disappointed. Glad I went for a medium, in the end. I'm 5ft 9", slim/athletic build - was a bit worried I'd undersized as my shoulders are quite broad so I was concerned it'd feel restricted across the pits. Seems fine though - I wanted it to sit quite short, the same fit as the Rivet and Hide model on their website.
Really happy, despite the cost of import
