Yes, they were from their recent trunk show MTO event where you could use exclusive and rare shell colors. I couldn't pass up the chance – natty shell is a bit of a unicorn (as they say).

So, one of the absolute nicest guys I know from some other forums is the same size as me and managed to get 2 pairs from the recent Shoe Mart batch that came through. He knew I've been looking over a year for them so he gave me first dibs on the extra pair. Nice nice guy!

I really hate the look. To my eye, black is always a better colour for footwear whether your suit is navy, dark grey or a lighter grey.
Different strokes for different folks. I'm the complete opposite. Unless you are wearing a black suit brown is always better. Black is a safe bet on most occasions but brown can add the extra punch to an outfit.

Handmade British shoes are, in my opinion right up there with the very best, actually I feel they are the best..and hard to beat… My faves are Trickers and loakes.. Barker, Churches, Grenson, Edward Green and Cheaney are fabulous quality too
