I bought my first pair of Michaels about 25 years ago and loved them. I bought another pair about 15 years ago in the Savile Row shop (don't even know if it's still there) and haven't worn them for about 12 years as I don't really wear black shoes much anymore. May have to dig them out of the loft one of these days…

Finally got around to buy a pair, initially wanted the Michaels and almost got them a year and a half ago but ended up with the Chambord. Very happy with the decision and super comfy straight out of the box. So comfy that I took them with me on a two week trip after wearing them only three or four times. Sizing is super weird and was a hassle to figure out (had my wife get them for me from Paris when she visited) but went with the 11,5 against the sales clerks recommendation (by phone) of 11 and am super happy I did. I am a TTS US13/UK12 with a D width. The Chambord seems to run a bit narrow so perfect for me.

              AIAN HA-TO!
