          A & D are interesting! E-H don't appeal to me.

            @FurattoHeddo:

            The 3W stuff has always been a little more "affordable" than IH if I'm not mistaken, my guess is that won't change in general(?) unless maybe these fabrics were created exclusively for the Works as some of the recent IH flannels(?) …

            This question popped up in my mind as well.

              The fabrics are being created exclusively for The Works, and the construction of the garments will be the same quality.  I would not assume that TW will be less expensive than IH.

              With the case of the jeans, there are 2 fundamental factores that determine price.

              1. Weight of denim - the heavier the denim the more expensive it is to make
              2. Difficulty of construction.  The heavier the denim, the more difficult to sew.  (a pair of 21oz take me about 5 minutes to hem, I have to allow 15 minutes for a pair of 25 oz)

                So the 3W stuff won't be that much lighter than IH? Of course we're talking about spring weight shirts, but I always thought the main difference between 3W and Ih was the weight of the fabrics. And that 3W is a bit more "open minded" regarding new patterns and colours, what E-H seem to prove.

                  Half correct.

                  More open minded, yes.

                  Lighter weight - not necessarily

                                    If it is the same specs as the IHSH-21 then yeah, you can. 😉
