Wax Treasure (Vinyl)

[GraemeE]

Spending the weekend up in Seattle with one of my buddies whose basement collection puts mine to shame

[goosehd]

@GraemeE That’s impressive! Looks like it could be a store from the pictures.

[GraemeE]

@goosehd thats due in part to the custom shelving he built so he could flip through part of his collection like a record store

[goosehd]

@GraemeE I just noticed signatures on the Devo hat. Pretty f’n cool!

[Aetas]

@GraemeE Impressive. Love the shop like presentation.

[68degreesorless]

@GraemeE That is so cool. Jealous.

What a ride with Suicide !

First time I have not clicked immediately on the link.
This wooden terrace is gorgeous!

Thinking about something like this for some time. There is some beautiful wood laying in my shop …

[GraemeE]

@Aetas I was nervous to take this one out of its sleeve

Its an original '77....

[Ikeaparty]

Dino release day is a good day

[Aetas]

@GraemeE Girl is not the highlight but convinced me lately. A gem at all!
Lead to the question, who influenced who at this time…

[GraemeE]

@Aetas There are repetitive drum beats that the kraut rockers had pioneered at least 4-5 years before this came out

Id have a hard time believing suicide wasn't influenced by them

[Aetas]

Beautiful comparative work.
Hard to discuss in one post.
But hearing it for the second time, makes it definitely not easier to decide who is in charge.

@GraemeE More than impressive.
It is not of small importance to know, if this glorious DUB is in your Scherzo or Alegro movement of the evening ;-).

Dem Atlas - Bad Actress

My favorite Hip Hop album of the past 10 years…
Unique, clever, deep topics.. Not your typical hip hop album, many inspirations from different genres. And great production from Ant. Rhymesayers never disappoints.

[weftyarn]

If someone prefers visual over wax. Dem made one of the greatest continuous visuals / music videos I’ve ever seen. Songs blending into each other, telling a whole story. Great stuff!

Don’t judge only on the first song, listen through Bad Loves Company, Music Man.
