Backing band is Sly and Robbie from Black Uhuru. They also played a lot of dub with Augustus Pablo, King Tubby and Mad Professor.

@68degreesorless I’m a little late on the Jazz- Funk recs…but check out Dexter Wansel. Layer in a bit of disco and psychedelia and I find it to be pure bliss. Not to mention the mixing and pressing quality of the OG is incredible.
