How are you liking your IH Hikers? Personally, I think they are amazing, and keep getting better with each hike. I've waxed mine a couple times (nearly mandatory when stomping around in the soggy PNW), and I miss the clean, RO look that yours are sporting.

Thank you! I have mixed feelings about them. They are super heavyconstructed and feel like they'll last forever. I should have sized up or gone for an E width, so I had blisters the first times I wore them. This is over now and they begin to feel really good on the feet. The only current problem is, that the metalpleats caused blisters on the toes of both feet. But we were walking almost 9 hours and it's been the third day of wearing them. RO is perfect, just brush the dirt away and they look awesome again.

Nothing much, compared to you guys, but I've pretty much done it all on this tiny, subtropical paradise, so I'm in relax mode

Got to take the bike for a quick ride early this morning before work. Had to get some things, figured it was perfect. Got to rock the IHSH64 and First Zip as well.

Last nights hike on the AT, High Point Section
Using the GORUCK GR1 with (2) 20lb sandbags seemed like a good idea, it wasn't[emoji35]

Carrying the extra weight slowed my pace from our usual 20min mile, the extra 5 min per mile isn't working out so well
And Fucked…
Was stuck in pitch black for last 1.5 miles some how made it out laughing our asses off the whole way.

Actually was a few days back, but took the family up to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. A great time was had by all, and I thought I would share some of the great pics
The pictures really don't so the scale justice. The views of Lake Michigan are breath taking. I am pleased to have been able to share this with my kids
