Sorry, I left out the tower part and that's kinda crucial

I curious that the tower had a light colored base  and the top section of tower is much darker

The Tower originates from the middle Ages, whereas the top was added in the late Renaissance or early baroque. That's why it Looks so strange.

You might want to think twice doing electrical work sitting on an aluminum ladder. Lamp is nice.
