Hi, Im kinda new to this overdye denim thing and was considering to buy a pair of these.

Im just wondering if any one has pictures of the overall out come. Does it fade in the back knee area? with crazy high contrast honeycombs like the 301s during long time wear?

Actually leftofthedial you would post that here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=85.0 Good looking out though! Saw them last week on Sufu and on Ebay earlier today but the length is a 31.5, otherwise myself or Monday would have grabbed them.

flared ? that's impossible….see knee and lo measurements

knee is 0.5 inches wider than lo - unless you hemmed them higher than knee

The flare is just an illusion because the leg (from knee to LO) is a straight cut and does not taper. Its more noticeable since you are wearing sneakers and not cuffing them. Put on a pair of boots and cuff 'em. You'd be surprised at the difference.

Yah i can see what you're talking about but that's normal… theyre right about giving them a small cuff, try it even without shoes and make it so the cuff is just above the bottom of your heel on the floor and they should straighten out... happens to me too. They should stop doing that a bit once they soften up more as well.

After wearing tapered jeans for a long time, my 634S give the illusion of being flared.  I've found that this illusion is more pronounced if I wear a sleek shoe.  Chunky boots definitely improve the situation.

Spartacus, how do the jeans fit in the waist?  If they are loose or even fit comfortably you could size down one since the waist will stretch at least one size.  This will give you a slightly slimmer fit in the thighs and lower leg (which generally don't stretch that much).
