Seul, what size do you wear in Clarks Desert Boots or Sperry Boat Shoes?
I'm deciding between 8 and 7.5 and wear 8s in those two. I have a short/wide foot.Mind you: I sized down to US8 (and even US7.5 in my next pair) for these… With the 8s I just put in an extra leather inlay sole and now they fit perfectly without socks... But I'm sure the 7.5s will be even better... In sneakers I'm normally US9... However: their US8s equal a EUR42... So yeah: look into the sizing chart a bit before ordering a pair, or buying one online!..

Man - the photos in this thread are so fucking rad
I love seeing Oak Streets and a solid Iron Heart cuff!

Trust me, size down at least a half size…
I could go down a whole size and still fit..
Agreed.

Sadly missed out on the Loden order… any word on some pictures to dry my eyes?

Well, I really did not expect that they would break so fast, especially after I wore them not really that often.
Anyone who maybe has the same problem? Should contact George? -
What's the deal on these?
Alright men,
Here is a photo to show how the leather compares in color to our current navy and brown chromexcel.I so excited to make these for you guys. This Loden Green Chamois isn't a standard leather for Oak Street or for Horween - it's a special order that we've done just for the forum members. I know you guys want something special and different from the usual offerings and the chamois is a perfect way to set these shoes apart. Chamois is a neubuck, and for this run i've decided to oil it to make it a little darker and to strengthen it. This is a leather that will look uneblievable with wear. It'll scuff up and get a great rough track to it over time while still molding to your foot and being super soft.
This is my favorite Oak Street shoe already, and I think we're only going to make 19 pairs for you guys - because I'm gonna make a pair for myself
Also - I'll personally lightly burnish each pair and box them up for you. Can't wait to make these for you all, and start seeing the worn photos here in this thread
