What about Sashiko type trousers in a heavier weight?

My next project is a pair of trousers, (following on from the lounge trousers that are coming later this month that will be in indigo jersey). Once I get the pattern correct I will be looking at making sashiko versions

Currently screen printing The Dude artwork onto the Japanese indigo loop wheel lounge trouser pocket bags.
Final press, then off to be photographed this week.
