@Go-For-Chill dude if IH jeans were $1,000 I'd cry. I'd be priced out of our hobby.

All right, solid question, if the silver price comes down, will we adjust our prices?? Short answer is yes. Caveat is it would need to come down considerably and lock in at a stable point.
In about 35 years of doing this, the price has never come down for more than a short bit. It always goes up.
I’d suggest a little digging on Google, this is different from anytime in the past when silver has gone up dramatically. This time people are aware that we consume more with modern industries than we produce each year.
Really all this means is shits gonna be a little (to a lot) more expensive and we’re going to have to spend a lot more time repricing. That’s a omething we typically only did once every one or two years.
I just wanted to give a heads up in an explanation and I am probably making this sound terrible. It’s not it’s an adjustment. It’s been long overdue.

A new place for the fleur-de-lis.

Do you know if that would fit through a UHF button hole?

Every
Day
Ludicrous
CarryGrateful to have the pieces I do.
The increases are harsh, but Good Art has always been something fun, for me, that most normies wouldn’t understand - even at old prices.
It’s actually their customer service that has turned me off the most. Don’t know if I’ve experienced worse, and it will be that that drives me away….

At the end of the day, they can charge whatever they want for their product, and we can choose whether we want to pay it. I’ve no skin in the game given I own just a couple of their more “affordable” pieces.
But, as someone who was looking forward to splurging an already hefty sum on some stuff this year, I’ll have to look elsewhere at the markup they’re introducing. I’m sure they don’t take these decisions lightly and know that a lot of existing and loyal customers will now be priced out of buying.

@Brandrea Hi mate. This is one of the only shirts I have with button holes. It fits through just fine, but I’m not sure if they are the same size as regular UHF ones.

Perfecto!

We'll see how this impacts GAH going forward. There's a lot to consider here.
- Yes, silver spiked. But the price of GAH was already extreme. Does this price it out of certain markets like Canada & the UK? Probably for the most part. There's a breaking point, and there's not a precise science to measure it.
- Can they still thrive in the Asian market (Vinavast is their bigger stockist I believe). Yes, they can.
- Wouldn't it make sense to subsidize entry level pieces like the Belt Loop Buddy with the Model 10? I would've thought so, and they are probably already doing that...but a piece like the Belt Loop Buddy gets so beat up by nature that it makes little sense at that price point...
Regardless, it's a huge bummer for hardcore fans of the brand.

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot could you elborate on the customer service part? I've emailed them 2-3 times for general enquiries but never gotten a reply so that left me a slight sour taste to the brand... So would love to hear what you have experienced

I’ve been following this discussion and just want to point out that the price of silver may only one factor in play. Everyday expenses, overhead, labour, insurance are all factors in pricing goods.
Only they know those variables and we are all just speculating.
Not saying I agree with the price increase, but you have to remember that over the past year, life has been a lot more expensive for everyone. Just think of how much a trip to the grocers cost now and what you get for it.
-
@kaacy1721 I’d rather not, just my personal experiences. I’m sure there are others out there (gotta be at least one, right?) that have had an awesome time with them. Sounds like you’re one your way to making up your own mind, regardless.
There are lots of wonderful people working for amazing retailers where you can snag pieces. I buy direct as a last resort….

@ajtrelf i got my brass BLB back when they were still £90 (probably even cheaper at one point), with the older design (SHIT HOT QUALITY on the spring ring) and used it every single day and loved it, and yes they are hella beat.
For a silver version, when they were asking for £475, i thought its not worth it for something that literally get hammered daily, now they are even charging 1000 usd +, its just not the game for aspirational customer to play anymore.
I get which direction they trynna head into for the brand, but they don't have the same brainrot filthy rich customer and celebrities base that CH has, that would literally buy any garbage they put out. And they are not Hermes.
Luxury market has been on decline in the last future years, even brands like Burberry had admitted that they overpriced their products, resulting in a price decrese across all lines. Many luxury brands like Bottega, The Row having private sale/outlet left right centre.
Yes GAH always talk about EDLC but for me, the brand was always targeting middle class/working class aspirational customers, with some crazy high end pieces (and prices) for the few individuals that could affrod it. This is just purely my personal opinion.
I predict that the Asia market could see a decline, so many people are still living pay check to pay check and the cost of living pressure is more prominent than ever in 2026, China in general sees a huge decline in all aspects of retail, Japanese yen exchange rate are getting worse. So many people still working hardly any hours or no jobs at all.
I doubt that a model 10B bracelet for 3 bands is on everybody's priority list.
We will just have to see how that will effect GAH performance in the future, yes they say they will lower their prices if the silver goes down blablabla, but who knows, I doubt that they are happy to lower their profit margin at will, when they know they can charge more, end of the day its a business.

These just dropped if anyone are after them. Love them but my wallet says otherwise haha
