Curious how warm is this one compared to the previous N1 vests with the wool / alpaca?

It's great warmth to weight ratio. The poly must be lighter than wool/alpaca.

@CosmoSix5 Nice pic! I had the previous N1 vest but lost it so was looking for a new one. Wasn't sure if this model would be less warm but doesn't sound like it! In part I like that I can wear these over my leather jackets and make them more winter appropriate (and obviously UHFs, CPOs, etc).

@natefreezy it was 18° at 6am and I was fine with that setup. Except my fingertips but that's not the N1's fault

For long trips I've enjoyed this vest. No matter the heat cruising 65+ on the road cold temps drift in. This allows me to stay plenty warm and not sweat out my passengers
I was too slow on this.
