I tried on the 16-oz CPO IHSH-427-IND and SZ Large is perfect for me. However I want to hold off till the 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo IHSH-292-IND is back in stock. The measurements are somewhat different comparing both in size Large. Medium in the 18oz is closer to the Large in the 16-oz but again, not spot on..I’m having a hard time deciding between the M and L in the 18-oz. I do Not want to be swimming in it nor do I want it to be tight and have to wait for it to stretch that would be worst case scenario for me… Hopeful to get some advice on what size to go with in the 18-oz.IMG_0278.png

@j3butch1 As these were just released earlier this year, your wait for a restock may be a long time. Your best bet is to look at the stockists who carry Ironheart and see if anyone still has them in stock.

Here is the list of stockists who carry Ironheart: https://ironheart.co.uk/pages/stockist-locator

Concerning sizing: please take a moment and read through this on how to measure and tips for using that information on choosing a size: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk/topic/18231/sizing-how-to-user-perspective

You may have difficulty in finding a vendor with any in stock. If so, you could always place a WTB ad in the marketplace with your request.

You can do that here: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk/category/28/want-to-buy

@goosehd thanks appreciate the reply and tips.
I’m in no huge hurry, it’s a legacy piece for me and just want to get it right. I’ll do some homework. The flux in specific sizing categories is confusing to me (opening/waist etc,)

@j3butch1 also be mindful that each re-stock will have different size charts. The batch that are ready in a years time or so won’t be the same as this most recent batch.

@goosehd so I've been digging deep into the forum doing my homework on both the 292 & the 427. Question- even though the 427 may be considered a seasonal piece w the corduroy collar is it "lighter" weight and feel than the 18-oz 292?
My only other IH pieces are the 666 in 21-oz and the 633 in 21-oz.

@j3butch1 I am tagging @ShopatIronHeart as I don’t have either piece in my collection, and they will be able to help you more in the distinctions between the two.

@goosehd appreciate that! I'm very much on the fence between the 2. The 16-oz felt great on when I tried it at Rivet & Hide London and honestly wished I pulled the trigger now that I'm home in Colorado. But I've made some spontaneous purchases in the past that have been mistakes and really want to nail this one. If one of the 2 is a little lighter for year round wear outside of the hottest months that's the one I'll wait for.

@j3butch1 I’ve got the 292 and recently tried on the 427. Definitely some details/style differences between the two, and I thought the 427 was slightly lighter, but the 292 is probably “the standard”. It’s such a great shirt. And my two cents based on your sizing chart above would be the Large in 292. CPOs are great with a tiny bit more room. Though as mentioned might be hard to find one right now and the sizing may vary next run.

@j3butch1 The 427 will indeed be slightly lighter in feel and weight than the 292 fabric.

While the 292 is more of a Western look with the yokes, both of these shirts will follow the CPO standard in terms of fit, the main difference is the corduroy collar and the lack of the yokes on the 427 shirt specifically. Aside from these points, these are both comparable.

Im just happy to be here ^_^

The 427 is 16oz and the 292 18oz, the differnce is noticeable....

Beating myself up over starting the return process on the overdyed version but truth be told it just didn't fit as good as this one.
