so these are more stubborn then the 634SRs.  .  .  i'm scared, hahahahahahahahaha

Difficult to be comparative, but my gut feel is yes.  The 634SR denim whilst heavy is fairly loosely woven.  This stuff is feckin heavy and very tightly woven.  I'm thinking I need to give out a medal to all who tame a pair…....
