Gotta say, these make great travel pants. They pack nicely, taking up less space and weighing less in the suitcase than their heavy denim brethren. They shed stains almost magically. Maybe even better than denim. Most can just be scraped or rubbed off with your hand. For stubborn ones, a napkin and some water goes a long way. They don't pick up smells too much. And they work better than you would expect on both hot (b/c of the stiffness of the fabric they don't cling) and cold (b/c of the strong wind resistance) days. Shed a bit of rain too without issue.

Oh yeah - have been on a self-imposed purchasing ban lately, but will come out of hibernation for these. So excited to finally try the duck fabric. Look forward to seeing the size chart when ready, expect I'll have to +1 on my usual size.

Measurements look good, although I’m on the fence about sizing. A true 36 would be ideal. Is half inch stretch in the waist likely? Or do I ask the crew to find a pair as close to 36 as possible from the 35/36 pool?

@jerkules I think there is some stretch but not as much as denim. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’m on the fence too about sizing. Would need 34 measurements but with a 35 waist. IHUK crew to the rescue hopefully.

Having owned 634D and 816's - I personally always say size for comfort. If they feel tight, uncomfortable, potentially like one would get their denim to fit in the waist initially then I am afraid they won't give enough to be comfortable.

Sounds sensible to go a tag size up, and request the smallest waist available from the stack. Thanks for the help gents, very excited!
