IHSH-430-BRN - Slubby Heavy Flannel Check Work Overshirt - Brown
-
...now watching...
This is going to do very well.
-
Might be my favourite of the collection.
-
^ it is the cut I had always hoped for, but didn't think would happen in the work shirt. It reminds me of the flannels I saw growing up.
Also, that issue of tiny buttons flying out of the holes he mentioned is a story I know well. These are gonna be killer!
-
@deadendpro The cut is giving me Pendleton board shirt vibes in the best way possible. If the measurements work for me, this is a definite buy.
-
Would this work well under a Type 2 or 3 jacket? I.e. due to heft and boxiness of the cut
-
@Nobunaga yeah man, you're on the vibe already!
@americanathreads My guess would be: it depends how you size your shirts/jackets. Time to play everyone's favorite waiting game!

Beautiful

This flannel is a work of art.
-
killer would go well in the wardobe
-
Yep, another one on the list
-
Hi any idea how far away these might be?
-
@Alex yeah cool as, been holding back on buying some more IH gear, just in case it drops any time soon. I’ll be spewing if I miss this one.
-
@ShopatIronHeart is the pricing correct on this: $400 for work, $379 for western (IHSH-431)? If so, what changed?…usually cost is higher for the western.
-
@Boit it’s not a traditional work shirt, as explained in the first post:
„Designed as an overshirt, this cut is an ideal winter layering piece, worn either as an outer or mid layer. Like our traditional work shirt, the cut includes classic patch chest pockets (complete with a pen holder) and button fastenings throughout. Where it differs is in its looser fit, straight hem, and split side-seam gussets, which are more characteristic of our mechanic shirt cut.“
I assume this is part of the reason
-
…ah so maybe less yield in the fabric because of the bigger wider design? I always figured the complexity of the western’s yoke and pockets was reason for the price difference, but sounds like this one might go in the other direction. either way it is a nice looking shirt.

This can’t come soon enough
