I’ve had mine for about a year, in heavy rotation for 4 of those months. Amazing shirt! I’m loving the evolution and seeing the subtle changes. I wear an XL in all my other IH shirts, but went XXL in this to allow for layering in the cold Colorado winter

@Yoprst Do you hang dry or put it in the dryer? I wanted one of these but I don't think I could deal with the curly hem. It doesn't lay flat even if ironed?

@Travis2375 the curly hem started way before the first wash. My guess is you’d have to keep ironing them to keep it straight. Believe it’s the nature of the shirt/cut..

                Hi Travis,
I always dry my denim hang dry and iron the shirts before they get dead dry. In this particular case the shape of hem stays just until the moment you sit wearing the shirt. After half an hour spent seated the rolls begin to form. You would hardly like to iron your shirt every time after you sit wearing it, would you?

This is the nature of cut/oz combo, I believe. And yes, if you want to keep your hem straight, you need to have an iron at hand all the time or at least before every wear 😂

Thanks for all the info guys.

I have been reading up on the curly hem dilema on the other thread here

Does all the 12oz and up shirts have the curly hem issue? 12oz Hickory IHSH-274-IND
                        too?
