Okay, I DON'T want to quit smoking. I enjoy it too often. I want to reduce it. When I buy a pack, it lasts me one day. Almost always. People always tell me it's all or nothing. Are there some of you who smoke like one or two cigs  a day?

I've only tried hash a couple of times, but it's nothing for me.

And every time I smoke cigarettes, I regret it the next day. It's basically the worst 'addiction' ever…

I'm always on the look-out for a deal. However, I am looking to shore up my wardrobe after having wasted money for the previous two years on unsatisfactory products. I'd say I am about 95% finished.

Sorry to piss on your fire mate but I really don't think you'll be able to reduce if you've been on a pack a day. Real smokers are like alcoholics…you either smoke/drink or you don't. I tried it 3 times..just smoking with a drink at weekends, just 3 a day...it never worked for me. I ALWAYS found an excuse to smoke that extra one/2/3....
It may last a while but certainly not forever. Occasionnel smokers can do it cos they've always done it.
I loved smoking but knew I shouldn't be doing it. The arrival of my wee boy finally gave me some real incentive and I've not smoked for over 8 months now. You have to want to stop for it to work. No good a quack telling you you shouldn't smoke cos you know that anyway. Maybe cutting down will work for you. Good luck to you mate;)

Thanks, Bertoni, maybe that's what I needed to hear, especially the alcoholics analogy. I'll try to reduce until the end of the year… If this doesn't work out, which it probably won't, I'll try to quit completely.
