right now it looks like we are damned to hang in here in Moscow and explore the city on company expenses until they come back to us and provide us an offer or confirm our proposal. from what we hear it should be 99.9% certain - but you never know until you get to sign something…
we have been out eating some more great food - but no pictures this time. sorry...(I might get the chance to work with somebody who has worked for Levi's as a designer/marketing for a few years - let's see.)

so jelly right now, i love the fine china with the dividers like for your kids. perfect for crazies like me that don't want my food to touch.
oh & i knew teh job was yours foxy, wasn't the least bit concerned

Hey Monday, in China they serve it on small plates separately - even better!
thanks for the vote of confidence - we were concerned for a moment since we felt that we screwed up a little during the interview. but apparently they love to hire Germans for some reasons. now the pressure is back on us: we know our new boss from previous engagements and the high expectations…
at least the money is right, crazy but right!

So, today we went for some denim related window shopping.
I read somewhere that Fott is the local IH dealer. After my last attempt ended being a bit of a disappointment (Bangkok - the adjective, but I admit that having Take5 around the corner in HK is setting the bar high, very high) I thought I'd give it another try. If I have to spend the next 3 years here I needed to find out…
Very nice shop, very nice folks.
The only Japanese denim: Edwin.
Quickly, we got into a conversation and got answers for our questions:
They are agent for Edwin, "real" Japanese denim is too expensive for most "normal" Russians and, yes, they have stocked IH in the past, but the summer in Moscow is too hot to sell IH. I did tell them that IH is not 21oz only and not only about jeans, but they promised that they will try to stock some IH gear for the coming winter again…
Nice folks!
