I have fair amount of satisfy running gear and have run 1000s of road km in them all year round.

The cloudmerino tops are really good for all temperatures. Very comfortable and light but they are thin and delicate.

I have their Rippy shorts, techsilk shorts and space-o shorts. I prefer the space-o shorts because the brief liner works best for me. The shorts liner is non compressive and isn’t supportive. They don’t even grip around my thighs (I don’t have skinny runners legs) so I cut them to above the shell because they look a bit silly loose around my thighs.

The AuraLite tees are simple polyester tops, nothing particularly special about them. The cut is boxy and loose which I find nice and airy in hot weather. I often wait for sales to pick the odd one up.

The top that I have been impressed with is the River shirt. It’s great for all weather and different types of runs. Button up during warm ups, interval rests/recoveries and cool downs then unbutton as needed when I get hotter. Easy to layer up or wear on its own. Also, it’s quite anti-running looking and passengers on London buses look surprised when their bus can’t quite keep up with some random bloke running around in a casual shirt.

Right now, my gear picks would be the river shirt, cloudmerino tees and 2.5in space-o shorts.

@C64 I agree on the merino. Great fabric. Mine did rip though. But satisfy sent me a replacement of their new version that has some cordura woven in, let’s see how long it lasts.
And here’s the poorly done diy repair of the old cloud merino

@Nik gutted for you that the cloudmerino top ripped up like that. I must admit that I do baby them and I don’t do trails so no unsuspecting thorns to catch or hydration vests to rub against for hours. Hopefully, the new cordura mix will beef up the durability as they are a spendy bit of kit.

@C64 Yeah I do not baby it. I didn't mind the holes too much, I have bought shirts from Satisfy with holes... but that rip was huge. Pretty cool that they offered a replacement. I've found their customer service and warranty to be pretty great. Will be doing a group run from their Paris headquarters on Saturday morning.

After a long rainy season kept me from running, went out this afternoon and just went for it. Doing a 10k under an hour has been one of my top goals since I started. Finally happened. I can certainly attest do doing more cardio in the gym and focusing on legs that really gave me the push to go faster and endure longer. Now to try and do this once a week 😆😆😆 small steps. I’m proud of myself for getting here though!!

@Jcaz6996 flying to Tokyo today and didn’t want any soreness for the holiday so cruised a 3:27. This year my A race is a 100 miler on trail in America and my B race is a 50km on trail in UK so this was always a training run for those. This morning i am moving around pretty much as normal so thats a pass of the test. Going that speed meant I could really take in the experience, talk to other runners, and do a lot of high fives.

@Nik that’s impressive man. What 100 miler are you doing? I need to get back into running again. Ran the Jeju ultra in 2015 so it’s been a while

@ZackB Eastern States in Pennsylvania in August. Will be more climbing than the two other 100’s I’ve done and hotter so looking forward to the challenge.

                                      Looking for advice here guys.
Need to buy ‘something’ to keep me informed of: heart rate, calories burned and beep whenever I go over a set heart rate limit. Any additional functions will be useful and nice-to-have further down the line.
I’ll initially use it for brisk walks and contolled cycling. Will likely jog too later on as I (IF ) I get in better shape .
                                      Thank you for all suggestions.

                                      The journey is the objective.

@motojobobo I’d recommend Garmin and I think most of them will have a heart rate monitor that you should be able to set to alert you if your HR goes to a certain number.
