Hi everyone!
Is here someone with experiences with this brand?
https://bot-co.myshopify.com/en
They offer very cool customizable Type 1/2 jackets and some jeans from pre WW2/WW2 era. Found them via Almost Vintage-Style on Instagram but it seems like there's litteraly nothing about them in the www. Still they have a lead time of 15 months for their stuff.
I wrote them about a jacket and they already answered very quick but still weird that I don't find anything about them

@Broark has a pair of his jeans. His main market is Japan and he just recently opened the orders for overseas customers. This is a reason you won't find too many Western people with his jeans and jackets and the main info can be found on Instagram.
One thing that turns me off, is that he charges more for overseas customers.
His WW2 jeans would cost 36k Yen (without tax, which would be normal for overseas sales).
36k Yen is approx. 250 $ + shipping, yet his price for overseas customers is 330 $ + shipping. And if you are located in regions like the EU, sales tax and customs will also be on top.His work looks nice though and you could buy his stuff also through Neat Style Official which might end up cheaper.
But I would prefer Libra Pondus aka rebuilt.jp for this price.

@beautiful_FrEaK thanks a lot for your reply!! That the price goes up for us foreigners is a bit unfair that's good to know. Did not see this. I just really like the design of his war era jacket, but maybe I'll find something similar.
Also I think the charge for alterations like custom sleeve length is very high when you realize that they mto... Maybe I will look into your other suggestions first

@FlavourFade In terms of custom jackets, there are not many from the top of my head. At least not of brands doing WW2 repros.
Maybe "Sakura Overalls" or "The Revised Blue" would do it. And Shingo-san from Denimbridge is also an option. -
@beautiful_FrEaK good suggestions! Will look into them. After all I don't need something custom, just the thought of it made me curious. When I learned about b.o.t. I did not know they offer alterations.
