@Boit in my humble opinion, arms are more exposed to friction, bending elbows and abrasions from activities and hence the electrifying-fades on them, the fabric on back just sits on the back and experience wear and tear comparatively less, so hence it fades less over time due to.less friction.
Same way, back of the jeans develop honeycomb-whiskers [more bending at back.side of.legs] and front thighs not so.much .. it's all indigo-suedo-science, i hope u get my point.
PS: not speaking on Mo's behalf, he could have replaced the back for all I know
or attached new, more faded arms to the rest -

Our little dog is 16 and doesn’t get around very well anymore. So we carry her in and outside to go potty. When I brought her in last night, I didn’t realize she was sitting in a puddle of her own diarrhea until I noticed my hand and 409 smelled rather grotesque.

@tvaillant75 it's on the list of things we want to re-run but I would expect to see it next year by the time they go into production
