I think the next 3 weeks' itinerary speaks for itself - not worried.

But, you guys will have to live with the transit time while I'm on the plane. Furthermore, I would expect some limitation in regards to cellular mobility and intentional roaming charges  - otherwise I should have it covered.

Couldn't leave HK as planed on the 16:35 through train to GZ. Shoot…
Going the slow and painful way: taking the MTR to Lo Wu (40min) and then the fast train from SZ to GZ (1-1.5hrs). Painful because of the border crossing in-between.

finally got a  hance tp check in with the tour - so glad they reached you kaj; you're doing an amazing job of a leg! sorry to everyone about the tarnsitional cockups on my end - kinda simmered off and flatlined (to mix up a bunch of metaphors)

hope all is well with the IH crew - things settled down on my end just in time for me to take some time off with the girlfriend.

Ok - things are packed, the wife is at the hairdresser (less stress) and I'm ready to go.
Should be be heading for the airport in 30mins.

I'll have to warn you - I might not be able to wear the jeans for probably the first 2 days in Moscow (at least during daytime and probably the evening if they take us out) as they have me interviewing for a "head of…" type position. I'm sure you'll understand...

Thanks for the thoughts - unfortunately higher positions often come with a lot of bullshit and higher salary will only result in more crazy spending on mostly Japanese denim…
My wife will make sure that I don't go cheap and whatever my salary is lacking hers will make up for it, I'm sure. We Germans feel intimidated talking about money - good thing my wife is American!
