I bought this coat online yesterday and should receive it in a few days. I am curious if there are any recommendations/suggestions for treating this coat to make it more waterproof without affecting the fabric in any negative way. I appreciate any insights. Thanks.

Yes I am very curious to know how worm is it, I like the style but for me the stopper is just to know if is warm enough

Not a winter coat. The IHM-34 is blanket lined, that would be much warmer.

With much respect to Tody; I believe this jacket to be a fantastic winter jacket. The quilting is military quality and keeps you nice and warm. The 5oz is also a substantial fabric to boot. I think you do you would do well in the winter with this guy! I have one but got the wrong size but I do have enough knowledge of the fabrics to say you would be in good shape!
