Addic High Life Voodoo Brew is a great pomade.  You should also check American Greaser Supply Company. They made some awesome grease as well.

i can recommend

it has a nice smell, reasonable hold and above all, its cheap!

for waterbased i used to use

Fair enough; nonetheless, it worked out well for you.  My kids are too young to be embarrassed by me walking around the house in worn out boxers and wrinkled tee shirts.   Maybe in a few years I'll start to get the self serving gifts from the kids.
