@Mike1914 I also have the sateen m65 in XL and I went with XXL for my N1 deck jacket. The sleeves are a little long and it has room for layering. I could have maybe gone XL in the N1 and had it more fitted and worn it with just a t-shirt but I wanted to layer up under it. A big winter coat should have a bit of room in it I think but there are plenty of people on here who go for the fitted N1 look. I hope that helps, I’d say you could go either XL or XXL. XL with a tee, XXL with a tee and a UHF.

just an update: ive worn my medium literally every day since it arrived mid november until just the past week or so and even then occasionally inside since it gets colder in this old house than it is outside at times. i love this thing and i never want to take it off.

@Fathom8 - It's all down to Haraki-san's colour pallet and creative vision for the season's collection which the N1's are always a staple part of. It is not a decision we make at IHUK on what colours we do them in but hopefully you've got 4 great alternatives across the IHM-35 and IHM-37 this year.

Sizing question.
If a XXL 9oz western is slightly tight on me and a XXXL is very comfortable, maybe even a little big, what size would be best for this jacket? -
@lolnah The best thing to do is to measure your shirt that fits you well and compare the measurements to the chart below.

Do you know how much the lining in this jacket plays into sizing?
I know the chest in the two shirts are 23.5 for the XXL and 24.4 XXXL.
So I dont know if I should buy the XXL with a chest of 24.6 or XXXL with 25.7 because of the extra bulk in the lining. -
@lolnah It all depends on how you want it to fit. I have 2 N-1 jackets and 2 N-1 Vests, one set (jacket /vest) of which is for layering and TTS (true to size - same as my other IH shirts) and one set (sized down) for a slim fit that I could layer under if needed (prefer not to).
The measurements of your shirt is key to understanding what size you need in a jacket as well as how do you plan on wearing it. Layering and you will need more space, over a t-shirt and you can go slimmer.
