Shoreman, yep I screwed up.  There were WAAAAAAAAAAAY more 29 waisted people out there than I continged for…......Trouble is, if you take a look, I still have quite a few of some of the others left, can't do a re-run until I need a minimum of 50.................

shoreman - u can order a 28 - and if they don´t fit - I will trade u my 29´s for them…I am pretty sure I can fit a 28, so yes, that would be ur only option right now...

I was thinking 29 would be the smallest I would be able to go and I'd deal with the hassle of breaking them in for several weeks prior to wearing them in public. I'm not sure I'd be able to get a 28 half way up…

I generally go for a 30 in most jeans (Nudie Big BengT, Slim Jim, SC2009) all of which are tight at first but tend to stretch into a good fit after 20 wears or so. However, after about a year's worth of wear, I notice a bit of folding in the waist, which I'm not to fond of…

picky, I know, but when jeans cost what they do, I'd like to be as precise as possible.

Just got a pair of 30s, trying to decide between 29 and 30…I like how the 30s fit out of the box, safe to assume I should wait for the next batch of 29s?  Also, should I give them a hot/cold soak or what prior to wearing?

                      Thanks a lot

This pic was taken from Jack Crank's post in the 9301 thread.  I was just curious to see if this is how the SBG's are going to fade?  Anyone…anyone...

i get 35s when they are available, but since they hardly are, i am always in 36s & my boys thank me for it.

as far as fading these are not the jeans to get if you want fading. these are called super black cause, well they are superblack.

i think they should be called super comfy cause they feel really nice, but i guess all
you tough guys wouldn't purchase. . . hahahahaha

man i just saw what you did barun, the sbfg is a new denim that fades white like indigo dyed denims while the super blacks stay black like i said.  so no that is not how the sbfg are going to fade.  i would look in the sbfg tour thread or comb through here to see mankarat & his posts with the pair of sbfg he is currently abusing.

                              hope that helps

Yes, the superblacks weft and warp are enzyme dyed, that effectively means that the black dye molecules are bonded to the cotton, this type of dying is designed not to fade.  In the sbg, the weft it enzyme dyed, but the warp is sulphur rope dyed, sulphur dyeing does fade, so the end result will be completely different.
