I've been through this entire thread and no mention of Wabasha's? What say you all? Fit pics? At first I didn't know what to think of them. The more I see them the more I like. They do look similar to Yuketen and OSB.

Might be a bit of a daft question, (and possibly already answered in one of the previous posts in this thread), but what does everyone recommend as a leather treatement to keep my 875's looking healthy? I've seen the own brand stuff, and tempted to but it as it's fairly cheap, but I've already got some RM Williams 'Saddle & Leather dressing' and wondered if that was pretty much the same thing?

I've got both the R M Williams saddle dressing and the Red Wing mink oil they aren't the same at all, the Williams seems to be a blend of waxes and the Red Wing is as it says mainly mink oil although I think there is wax in it. I've used both on my Iron Rangers and IMO they soften and protect the leather pretty much the same the only difference that I've noticed is that the Red Wing oil seems to waterproof the leather slightly better but as a minus point it also seems to make the boots smell a bit of the oil. The Williams dressing certainly won't do any harm to them so if you've got it give them a coat.

One other (slightly less daft) question, can anyone recommend some good, thicker, socks to wear with my 875's? I quite like the Smartwool crew socks, but any other suggestions would be welcome.

one day i´m gonna get these re-soled..the plain one is so slippery when it´s wet
