Cheers lando - as you probably know I'm a big fan of yuketen - got my guide boots a couple of years back and added to those

I'm pleased you're ok with the evo you have, but I have been a little confused at the coloured leather approach - giving leather a strong colour sometimes means adding a "top-coat" since the base leather colour will influence the tone . . . however this extra colouring is not likely to be as durable - therein lies my lack of confidence

I think as suggested - the manufacturer might be the best source of data on durability and wear - which should also confirm whether they are full pull-up chromexel, semi-aniline or whatever type that was used

Thanks Geo! Yeah I am going to contact them shortly in regards to resoling, repairs, and leather color/ etc… Good to know there are other enthusiasts here! Really love everything about this company from what I have taken in thus far! Cheers

That is the beauty of real leather/ suede shoes… Won't smell! Plus, my feet are clean kid!!!

Those look GREAT Lando. And yeah: no socks for me in my OSBs either. These kind of shoes are meànt to be worn like that!..

Yes sir! All of my pairs are US11. Depending on the model (Mocs) they can be tight at first, but with a little wear they stretch out perfectly!

The two pair I've had (blucher and Maine guide boot) I would say were half size large vs casual US sizes

In other words sized similar to my Alden Indy boots

Socks or no socks, mine are all fitting TTS… (4 Pairs Now)

As for comparing them to OSB. IMO, OSB run about a half size larger. That or the leather stretches more. Yuketen Leathers all feel like they will last MUCH longer than OSB...

Maine Guides are BEASTS

I 2nd Lando - OSB runs about 1/2 size larger - my feet measure just a little under 28.0cm, translating to 10.0 US in OSB and 10.5 in Yuketen - Cheers
