I am considering this or IHJ-49 jacket.

I am wearing western UHFs in XL, work UHF i kind of feel between sizes, L is slightly too tight and XL feels too boxy.
Sateen M65 i wear in L and it fits amazingly, was thinking it's too restricting at the beginning but it looks great and feels just big enough.
N1 - I have L and it works fine, probably could choose XL for more wintery feel.

I have had multiple aero jackets, best fitting was Long Half belt with 23'' P2P (but it was slightly too tight when layering for example IH hoodie)
Also had highwayman with 24.5 p2p - felt slightly too big, but it was actually comfortable thanks to that.

Measuring my chest, relaxed, with t-shirt on it comes down to 42''
          And I am 187cm tall.

I have quite lengthy arms, never had too much issue with IH's sleeves so that I am not that scared off.
One thing that is concerning though, the sleeve opening on the IHJ-64 is very tight, I am worried it won't even fit my watch under it 🙂

Any advices about sizing? I am thinking IHJ-64 in XXL could be good, but maybe should go for XL?

Rockin' the new J-64. And man, what a solid and cool jacket! I went with the XL, and am 5'9, 190 lbs, broader shoulders and chest but shorter arms. Always had difficulties finding the right fit in nice leather, but this one feels great. For you watch guys, I had my tailor remove the cuffs and hem a plain sleeve so I can wear my watches. The horsehide is as distinctive as advertised...And that glorious smell. Iron Heart J-64_Beret.jpg

A year into my 54 and the smell is still there. The UHFs I hang next to it in the wardrobe always take up a bit of it and if’s the best thing ever haha

@twin Thank you, sir. I probably could have gone up to the XXL to layer a bit more (like with UHF), but here in AZ just t-shirt, dress shirt or baselayer is enough. Finally a kick ass leather jacket that is marginally flattering. LOL

@cityofdelusion @init616 Do these help? After removing the cuffs and tailoring the sleeve opening for a clean look and watch friendly, watches easy to wear and see. And I wear some big watches. 44mm Panerai or 43mm GS Tentagraph all good. I dig the tapered sleeve opening of this jacket, superb for you watch guys that hesitate with the long sleeves and tight cuff.

@Transporter Thanks, that is super helpful regarding sleeves and their openings.

I am still at the dilemma between this and the IHSB-WJ blattered one. I recently purchased nice roughout jacket so I am only considering these 2 for the second leather.

I am wondering which of these 2 is more versatile in non-winter time in UK.
I am set for the winter, warm jacket - i'd like something I could wear in autumn, spring and colder & rainy summer nights. They seem to have similar lining so I guess the cut and the leather are the distinctions.
Type 3 is something I associate with lighter wear probably due to the fact that most of them are denim.
If anyone has any thoughts on that I'd be greateful.

@init616 That was a consideration for me as well. For me, I live in a hot and dry climate (in the summer), where only shirt sleeves are enough 6 months of the year. October through May though I wanted a leather. I've found in the last couple of weeks that this jacket is quite good with only a dress shirt, tee, or light/medium baselayer underneath in my daily range of 0-23C or so in the winter. The leather is thick, unlike any denim type 3 I've ever worn. Probably not the best choice in 35C or higher.

The break-in of the jacket has to be one of its best features as well. A bit of rain or sprayed water and wearing the jacket, stretching out the shoulders, back, and chest, the jacket just conforms brilliantly to your body, rolls forming on the arms. Super cool. Here it is two weeks in, wearing 10 of the 12 days or so. I used a butter knife to stretch the button holes a bit, as it's a bitch to button when new--your fingers will thank you.

Another sweet feature is the interior "gun" pockets. In my jacket, the right inside pocket is noticeably deeper than that on the left--likely variability in mfg so if important for you, good to check with the guys on the jacket they send you. I'm left handed though, so all good. Not that it is relevant in the UK, but that right pocket easily fits a 4" Glock 19 or Walther PPQ without printing on the outside of the jacket. Definitely brilliant thick leather that softens up quickly but keeps its shape.

@init616 Yep, same here. I totally dig the interior pockets on both sides and the stealth carry of wallet, phone, and firearm. Pretty impressed with the leather comfort in the range from cold to reasonably moderate weather so far. Kicks ass in the rain too.

@DeeDee85 I had that same size conundrum between XL and XXL, since the size chart shows they are really close in most dimensions. I couldn't try one on in my area and went with the XL. With those long arm dimensions in both XL and XXL, I was planning to remove the tight cuffs anyway to wear my watches and tailor the sleeves shorter to better fit my arm length. Worked great for my needs.
