BTw, my latest pair are some 9014s, bought a t the Red Wing Store in Hamburg, yesterday.  And there I fell in Love with the 2945, I think I need those in my life, especially when the short german summer is over.

These are FINALLY available in the US from Red Wing; previously were Euro/JP only. Any Red Wing dealer ought to be able to get a pair for you to try on.
