Hey oakstbootmakers (George), can you suggest the best re-soling option for a pair of trail Oxfords? At the rate I am wearing them I am going to have to get a new set by the end of Summer. Not likely that you all do that service. Just figured you might have some favorite places in major cities for all of us. Cheers and keep up the good work! Hear there are some serious goodies in the works…

Just ordered a pair of navy vibram sole oxfords. It's going to be a rewarding 6 week wait!
Fixed it for you.

Hmmmm
Any way, as promised here is my Vibram Camp Boot.
Photo overload for anyone waiting out that rough six weeks:
yes, yes picture overload, but i figured this is the next best thing to checking them out in your local store. Only thing you are missing is the gorgeous feel of the leather & that new leather smell.
**six weeks go by really quickly

you makes me wanna a Brown one also.. Never enough with this shoes… Just asking, in case i could fit 10.5 just nice. Is it possible to take a plunge on size 10? will they stretch to fit my feet? I'm asking this because George have size 10 available in Brown with Vibram sole... i want that!

Lando!
We do resole! When it's time to resole them, send them back to us and we'll take care of you. The fact that your shoes can be 'factory' resoled is definitely one of the perks of buying Oak Streets. In the years to come, whenever your shoes need this service we will gladly care for them, and send them back to you good as new.Jimmy - thank you for the kind words! When I was designing this first Oak Street collection I really found no need to line the shoes. Chromexcel is such a strong leather, that lining for extra 'stand-up' was absolutely not necessary. I did line the navy blue strap loafer, as this was a dressier shoe.
It was definitely a preference, and one that I think most of our customers prefer.
The lack of lining further allows for a better breathing shoe, ultimately supporting a longer life of the shoe.
Thanks so much everyone,
