Hand and Power Tools
-
My experiences with Harbor Freight tools have been that they are either amazingly solid for the price, or they are cheap in every sense of the word and break almost immediately. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell which it will be until you're knee deep in the project.

Or Festool?

Their ratchets and sockets are so incredibly nice. The mirror finish is not unlike a good art piece. The koken stuff is a bit more designed for functionality imo and I like their action and handling a bit more. Especially how they design the ratchets for ultra low back drag.

I'm a bit of an unabashed tool whore. One of my many hobbies is building fine bamboo fly fishing rods which requires absolute precision.

@Jcaz6996 I’m a roofer, so we batten the roofs out with nail guns but then fix the tiles/slates with a hammer and I end up knocking in a few hundred nails a day at least.. the few joiners I’ve asked have said the same as you, I just need to bite the bullet and get one ordered don’t i!
