I have the 10oz version (and will have these tomorrow) and I say very little. It has some
Give and a little inherent stretch, but compared to the mercanized chino material (which has inherent shine and stretch), these have about 1/2 the stretch you would expect out of a denim weave.Give me about 3 days And I’ll be able to confirm

Thanks @Appfaff - look forward to your review/photos. The measurements appear identical to the cargoes and I like the 5 pocket cut of these. I had the double-front Engineers a few years back but they were way too wide from thigh through leg opening - these may be a great replacement.

Same here brother - the double front ducks are my all time Favorite pants - but my size has a huge leg opening, and does make me look a little larger than I prefer. I (sad to say) do a pin roll at times lol [emoji23]

So I will preface by saying this: since 2009, I have coveted the look the Japanese guys and gals are able to pull off with Iron Heart Duck pants. To me they are just so badass.
However, in my size, I have never found a pair that’s flattering in the top block, and kept a
Trim leg. For me the 801 Was always the pinnacle, and accepted that in a 36/38, the leg
Would just be big.These are the answer to a Decade worth of wishes. Double front, tough but beautiful
Fabric, more room in top block than 801
And leg opening.Thank you team for designing my perfect pants!
Size 38, hemmed to 33” - I’m 6’2 / 100kg

So against my better judgement, these have give to them - a decent amount actually - so I gave them a hot soak, delicate warm wash, snd. Partial machine dry.

Couple questions. I’m thinking of picking these up at the DR Boxing Day sale on sat….
Does this material stretch? I have the 502s and I had to size up because I knew that they didn’t have any stretch in them at all... if they do at all I’m thinking of going tts, but still not totally sure
Also do these fade?
I have been loving the 502s and think these are just as cool

Yes, material stretches. I would go a size down from the cargoes.
It also fades very quickly.
I have a 38 in both and the cargoes are TIGHT and the 602s I have to wash and machine dry every couple of weeks and it’s still baggy in the hips and waist.
