Out of curiosity, what do you do with all of the bread? Surely you and Paula aren't eating it all by yourselves, are you?

Gave Alex and Kira a loaf, gave the people over the green who are self-isolating a loaf. Two more being made as I type. I'll be able to find people to take it off my hands….
Wish I were your neighbor! Avocado season is in full swing here and every time I see these loaves I picture and can almost taste them this way

Giles What mix/method did you use for your bread starter?

I am currently not using the starter I am using shop-bought yeast granules. The starter is currently in the fridge, I think it's ready now. I'll take it out of the fridge sometime early to mid next week and try a Poolish, Biga or Sourdough, not decided yet.
I used this method, but used water initially not pineapple juice….
I'm not 100% sure I am happy with the result, so I may revert to the Ken Forkish method. I am using his recipes for my bread, so it makes sense....
