      Fekking hell, that's a cool jacket…

..and we see that the sleeves are too short ..  😎

The sleeves aren't too short since sleeve length is relative to the one wearing the jacket.  I would size up one if I were this guy's build and it'd look fine. My guess is that hhis jacket's going to be fine for the the vast majority of people that buy IH providing they're getting the right size.

Just got mines (fast ass shipping) - sleeve length is indeed short. BUT I'm only 5 7 and dig sleeve length on the shorter side so this jacket is PERFECT for me. Stiff but not as form fitting as the OD work shirt. Which is great considering the fabric on this thing is thicker. Arms are slim without being too tight at the arm crease. Extra 2 inches makes for much more versatility and practicality when wearing with shirts etc. Been waitin' on this release for half a year and it's EXACTLY how I wanted it to be - Freakin' great garment. Cheers kiya x ih.

Yes, pics please….  I’d like a longer type III eventually.  My OD type III is very sort, hits about the belt or so, but I’m ok with that and rarely tuck in.  Gile’s upcoming duck type III is going to be a little longer like this one.

          RIP, Geo

Man… i usually take an IH L in shirts but i am unsure of sizing on this jacket... argh. 42 or 44. What did everyone else go with compared to their normal IH size?

S in IH shirts (for a fitted look and layering over nothing more than a t-shirt), went 40 in this.  I am thinking 44 for you.

Im hesitant on the sizing… selfedge IH sizing seems off right now? Their IH shirts size M now says 18.5 shoulder, wasn't that L before? I asked Kiya and he said no nothing changed. Maybe i'm crazy haha Normally i'd go with a size 42 but the 44 has ok sized shoulders and longer arms (i usually take 25.5 arms?). I think 44 chest may be a little wide though? I'd think a denim jacket should fit a little more slim in the chest? Crap.  ***For comparison i also took the superblack vest in a 38(M) and the chest always felt a tad wide for me

What's your height/weight?  My feeling is that a 42 might not allow you layer too much underneath it, but that might be fine depending on how you plan to use it.

I'm a IH Large, and I'd probably go a 44 on this one if I were game.

Splattered - You always seem to run one size bigger than me, go 44.  I have a 42 and it fits me perfectly.

Well i live in San Diego and am not worried too much about layering… Tshirts and maybe IH Flannels when it gets cooler outside 😛 Hmm i'll look over everyone's fit pics again (Still working on trying to raise the dough too anyway. This thing is just listed as being mega limited run so i don't want to miss out like i have been with everything else IH lately) ***Man i should have read over this thread more theres tons of fit advice haha sorry don't mind me O_o

It arrived today! Yes!!! My GF was in class so the UPS man didn't leave my IHUK package but the USPS man had no problem leaving my Self Edge delivery.

This is a size 42 (Sizing advice per Kiya/Lando/Others) … i have a long-ish torso so i appreciate the extra length. I think it fits me spot on at the moment but i'm a bit more thin than usual... this is just with a Tshirt on, i dunno if i could layer with a flannel. Probably? If i put on another 10-20lbs though i'd def not be able to layer much... but it's denim, would it stretch? Should i stick with this or go with a 44? (In pics paired with the DC4001 not that you can tell). Kinda funny, the left arm has a twist to it and the arm opening splits fall in a totally different place per arm. O_o

I think it looks perfect on you right now, and as you mentioned you live in SD so probably unlikely to layer much under it above a tee?  How does it feel with a flannel underneath?

Dunno just yet… tried it on real quick during my lunch break. Fell in love. haha Made a sandwhich, played a few matches of the Gears of War 3 Beta, lovingly kissed the jacket goodbye, and drove back to work. I'm pretty sure i'll keep this size. The shoulders and under arms feel just a tad tight but that'll prob be fine once it loosens up with some wear.
