My 179 has softened up noticeably even if it was never even remotely stiff to begin with, but it is much comfier now. However, I feel that the main reason I enjoy and appreciate it more now than when new has to do with the slightly more muted colors, especially the reds. It probably has about 6 washes by now and the red tone now matches beautifully with the blues and white threads. When new it was more contrasty than what I prefer.

I’m looking forward to have it around for my turn at Kanreki and wear it then. It’ll be worth a pic!
