It's wet…..
Thank goodness for small Miracles. Either way that’s a beast of a job.
I was going to say, " There had better be water running through that hose. "
It reminded me of a job I was on, a few years ago. A contractor I worked for had me dry core two 8" holes for HVAC piping in a local high school. While, I was supplied with a proper 8" dry core bit, a "proper" dry core drill was apparently not in the budget. Since the bit fit on a 9" grinder, that's what I was given. I was only coring through standard 8" masonry block, but it was an adventure, nonetheless. It took me twice the time, and I burned out the first of two grinders used. Thankfully, I incurred no injury, and I haven't had to work for that contractor again. Shame is, it probably cost the contractor more money, having me do it that way, but they likely didn't learn the lesson.

Rich, the guy who did the work for me (now a true Iron Heart convert) got so pissed off with his employers for having him do the job on his own with mucho inadequate equipment (I was quoted 2 days, it took 5 - looking forward to the quote versus invoice discussion), he has offered to do all the core drilling and cutting I need at weekends in return for a cold beer or two (after the job, not before)

Lovely brick work, @Giles . While, I may not be there to put a level on it, it appears someone understands the concepts of plumb, level, and straight.
Carl, the brickie is amazing. He did all the brickwork on the main extension, he now uses me as a filler, if another job gets delayed, he turns up and does what he can at the house. Keeps him working, I pay less and we're all happy….

The brick work on the barbecue area looks top notch, congrats!!
We see a lot of brick work where I live and it is unusual to see that bricklaying quality. -
Plastered and mist coated…..
Well, some of it. This wall can't be done until the doors and window are installed. They can't be installed until the stone threshold arrives. Quarry that is making it seems to think that mañana is too urgent….
Landing that leads into main house installed….

Very nice. Things seem to be proceeding relatively smoothly.
