I finally picked up my AI-002 from take5. NO 24 oz yet so I have to hit them again in June or so.
Soooo.. I got a size 34…. glad I did... POST SOAK it's a SIZE 32!!! Man, it shrunk so much, it shrunk more then my 005 in a size 33.
It was a HOT soak @ 60C. Color change was very insignificant post soaking, Just a super tiny hint lighter.If I were to compare fit between the 005 and AI-002, the AI feels a tad more fitted and proportions a little better then the 005. The top block is a little more snug but the thighs a tiny bit looser and more comfortable. With a few more days wear lets see how much these stretch out...
...I got the TPJ-510 in W33 which are essentially a XX-005 and they ended up being about a size too big after a hot soak. (contemplating a really hot soak in order to find out if I can get some further shrinkage out…)
So, when buying the AI-002 I opted for W32 hoping to get a better post-soak fit. Will do pre-soak pics and measurements as well as soaking and post-soak measurements later this week...

The first of 2 24oz models came in today at BIG, it is the XX-013 24oz. Gordon told me he'd post a pic today, so go check it out. It is raw, so I wonder how much it will weigh when washed and shrunk. PBJ makes awesome pants, (almost) on a par with IH. In the pipeline is a 24oz version of the truly fantastic XX-007 deep indigo model. That one, I'm getting most definitely.

Just received the 013 24oz model. It is a fucking beauty. The blue is amazing, the stiffness is out of this world. I could barely flezx my legs when I rode my motorcycle back home!
the fit is great, although I think I should have taken the straight rather than the slim model because I have thighs and ass of a former rugby player… But man, I can tell the fade is going to be fantastic like the 007.

I am sorry to inform you I will not post fit pix of another brand on IH's forum. I hardly ever post fit pix of IH stuff, and I think it would be impolite to use IH's site to big up another brand by posting their pix. I hope you understand.
Trust me, the pants are very nice. Maybe Gordon at BIG has fit pix or maybe PBJ directly (very nice people, btw).

i don't see how fit pics would be impolite to ironheart considering it would be posted in a section titled "other denim & garment brands" or "fit pics of other brands". if it is impolite then what would be the point of even having an other denim section at all? i can't imagine anyone at IH would be offended.
