Have any of you "knifenuts" heard (or NOT heard) of these Ray Laconico knives and folders. Last night I was surfing the web like the USS Enterprise and found out about him. I must say that aesthetically those really catch my eye.

I guess he don't mind me linking these pictures from bladeforums since he's in the business of making and selling them:

Does anyone here know what the safest way is to send a butterfly knife over from the States to Belgium?.. It's been years since I had one, but now I can't seem to find one here in Europe… Well, not without meeting in an alley with a guy named Gregorov... Still looking around... Want a very thin and light one, preferable with a clip... Max price of say 150-200 $...

Last'un's 225 $ though… Not sure whether I wanna spend that much... But I don't want crap either... USA made preferably...

Seul, I know where to find these but I'm not sure if you can have them shipped overseas since they're illegal
here. They won't go through customs. That's here in LA though, not sure about the rules in other states as
they vary, I'll see what I can find out for you. 😉

It's VERY risky to ship them outside of the US…I would not recommend this, especially with a high dollar knife

How about through using a military PB?.. They're not scanned by customs right?.. Or it's at least legal to send weapons to them?..

Never heard of him, but that doesn't mean he isn't any good

I meant the special mailboxes army personnel uses - even internationally… It's exempt from normal custom regulations and import restrictions, I thougt...

                        I mean APO/ FPO mailboxes…

Although there are specific restrictions for each five-digit Military and Diplomatic Post Office ZIP Code (APO/FPO/DPO), generally, the following are prohibited in the region of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom:

Obscene articles (prints, paintings, cards, films, videotapes, etc) and horror comics.
Any matter depicting nude or seminude persons, pornographic or sexual items, or nonauthorized political materials.
Bulk quantities of religious materials contrary to the Islamic faith. Items for the personal use of the addressee are permissible.
                        Pork or pork by-products.

                        I love that last rule…  😘

I'll get a cheaper one, Doug... But then I don't think you really need to service a butterfly knife... It's not as if I'm gonna carry it... Just a plaything for indoors...
