A friend brought it from Florida 'bout a decade ago. So actually don't know anything alse about it. (that was approx. the time flamesleeves became popular in my neck of the woods)

How'd you describe those Pike bros'es, They're the 30's cut right?

The Jeans are LVC 201, the suspenders are made by Pike bros. But the Roamer Pants of PB should be similar to a 30s cut, yes.

had a request for EP chino fit pics to compare to the IH 702 and other chinos
anyway here's my EP Rivet Chino in navy, these are pretty much TTS for me

Those Epaulets chinos actually look pretty decent.  Good fit on those!
I'll definitely consider them next time.

I took your advice and went for the japanese fabric.
Ended up getting the Real McCoy Blue Seal Khaki pants from BIG.

the EP's are a nice pant, the fabric is nice, the construction is very good (though not over-the-top good like IH and some other Japanese labels), and the fit is good for me
I don't think these look as good with a boot, result of the slim cut and leg opening, coupled with the manner they finish the leg seams, which results in a white stripe at the opening if you cuff them
but nice for a low profile shoe
if I didn't already have too many pair of khaki pants I'd buy their chino in the heavyweight 12 oz japanese twill

now you owe fit pics of the Real McCoys… hehe
I had some Buzz Ricksons but the cut was much too full
next time I wear my SDA or RRL chinos I'll try to snap some more pics
