It’s a matter of personal taste @Kavorka. Personally I own sized up type III’s and N-1 vests to wear with shirts to avoid that. My more fitted vests and jackets are saved for t-shirts and sweaters.

Will mostly have it not buttoned but when I button it I think it works better tucked. That way it works perfect.

How are you guys finding the lenth? Morel specifcally the longest point (back) compared to the shortest point (the sides). Anybody finding it proportionally too short/too long?

That is going to be entirely dependent on height, amongst other variables, including personal taste.

I’m 180cm and sized down from my usual XL to an L. The length seems about right to me. I normally want 74-78cm back length on a western.

I have all 3 variations. I was just thinking about it because of the difference between the longest and shortest point. I'm not complaing but mostly just wondering about what other people think.
