I should also ad that I cant button the top button with the XL, which is a must for me. So sizing up to the XXL is definitely the way to go for me. XL will be heading back to IHUK if anyone missed out on that size.

I don’t think I’ve ever used a top button on any of my shirts  😃

If I did though, I’d also have to size up for this one

@piranha Ha! Never thought they were that big, but looking at the photo now, I suppose you’re right. I’ll keep ‘em out in all my future photos for ya 😃

XXXL Arms are an inch longer as all westerns that I have.
              But the rest fits perfect!
              Super stoked with it.

Can we have winter back now?

Hey all - I have a question. Is my Sax too tight in the chest or does it fit spot on? It has a little pull in the chest but that happens to me sometimes in IH shirts. If I size up, sometimes they are too big.

                  Thoughts?

@Goosetown In my opinion no, don't size up.  The entire shirt looks good, and I too occasionally have the pull in the same spot.  It's minor…

The only thing I suggest is to be careful when washing.

@Goosetown  I wash all of my flannels either by hand, or washing machine, cold - (no or low spin), and hang to dry (actually lay flat on a drying rack).

                        Hope it helps.

This shirt is already over dyed.  Look back through this thread for shrinkage details.

Thank you! Omg, yes! It's been a little over a year. I can't believe I was ever not a civilian now. Loving it 🙂

First impressions are good. It's only my second UHF and I'm amazed how softer it feels from the other I have (IHSH299-PUR). Saying that it is my second western. I think I'm smack bang in between a L and XL in Westerns as both this and my other western (Serge) ever so slightly cut into my armpits. For me though sizing up isn't an option as the sleeve lengths are a tad long for me already. It's a fine balance. But L is the one.

Overall though, this fabric feels incredible. I love worn in fabrics and that super soft feel of a very old heavy fabric and this looks and feels like one already if that makes sense. It's going to be my go-to in winter.

@Goosetown I'd probably size up personally. The ultimate test imo is to sit down for a little bit and see if you get uncomfortable. If you're taking a fit pic you're probably not standing in a natural position so it may fit better/worse than it would if you were more natural
